As a former student who earned his Private Pilot Certificate at Hewison Aviation, I look back upon my experience with very fond memories. My instructor Adam was great and I always enjoyed flying with him. The training I received left me with a great foundation to continue my aviation career at the collegiate level.
Michael D2023-11-29Chris B is a great instructor. He is SAFE and COMMUNICATES well. He is not my first instructor but he will be my last. He remains in contact with me even when I am not scheduled for flights. I believe he cares about customizing my training to fit my life and goes out of his way to ensure I know what his expectations of me are for the upcoming sessions. I cannot recommend him or Hewison Aviation enough. Safety, communication, patience.
Emily Holder2023-11-27As a student pilot here I've been having a wonderful time learning all the ins and outs with the instructors here. Everyone is very professional and exceptionally friendly, my instructor Keegan D. has been so pleasant to work with and so thorough with making sure my foundations are built up strong while also making each lesson fun and exciting! Any of the other instructors I've worked with on occasion have also been wonderful teachers, and the owners themselves are very interested and passionate about the progress of all the students here. I have a few reservations about the Gleim ground school being a little buggy at times, though it hasn't stopped anyone here from being willing to help out when I've needed it and I'm really looking forward to completing all my training here!

I have had a great experience here so far and my instructor Keegan is great at what he does. So great that after I get my private license, I’m planning on sticking with Hewison to get my instrument rating and commercial license. Would definitely recommend if you are a prospective student pilot and have a real passion for aviation.
